An Event For People With Ideas
IdeaMensch LA is an after-work event with inspiring speakers, a great crowd, lots of ideas and homemade cookies. At least that’s what happened last time.
IdeaMensch Event Numero Dos, will happen on November 16th at NextSpace in Culver City.
Most notably, another lineup of amazing speakers and presentations. Here is what you can expect.
- Mike Jones talks about his experiences and lessons trying to turn around MySpace.
- Clyde McKendrick talks about cultural capital and how to instill some into your idea or startup.
- Rebecca Pontius talks about how she came up with the idea of the Do Good Bus (the one that toured with Foster the People) and how it was brought to life.
- Mario Schulzke talks about how to bring ideas to life, which he gleaned from conducting 500+ IdeaMensch interviews.
Check out some of the talks from our last IdeaMensch event in Los Angeles:
- Jessica Jackley – Empowering Entrepreneurs: Connection and Capital
- Dan Gould – Big To Small: Building Large Visions Through Tiny Steps
- Court Crandall – How To Make A Movie That Matters
- Brittany Laughlin – Chase Passion: Turning What You Love Into What You Do
- Lori Deschene – Tiny Buddha: From Concept To Community
- Jake Wood – Inaction is not an option
Important.
Parking shouldn’t be a problem. Culver City has plenty of garages where the first two hours are free, and then it’s like a buck an hour. We’ll have cookies, chips and flavored water. There is no fancy dinner. So please don’t come too hungry.
Sort of important:
Please note that we are only selling 150 tickets for this event. Space is unfortunately limited.
